In Collections: Fonts from Ukraine
This font family is based on the lettering of Petro Kholodny, who apparently relied on the legacy of Heorhiy Narbut and Mark Kyrnarsky, who began an expressive, but tragically interrupted with the history of the Ukrainian Republic, style of the Ukrainian typography. The proposed project is a full-fledged font family with 6 font styles. The font is named after a significant event for Ukraine – the reunification of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic and the Ukrainian People's Republic into a single independent Ukrainian People's Republic, January 22, 1919. The typeface contains modern Slavic Cyrillic with the possibility of accents, modern European Latin, historical and stylistic alternatives, Macedonian-Serbian italics, some decorative elements. Zluka is designed for a wide range of design purposes: from logos and corporate identity to body text in newspapers, magazines, books and websites of relevant subject. The typeface was designed by Gennady Zarechnyuk and Victor Kharyk with support of Serhiy Tkachenko in 2018.
