This typeface is a somewhat naive and ironic generalized idea of “perfect italic”, intentionally executed in a shabby sketchy manner. This makes it lively and informal and allows you to simulate a print or writing on thick paper. In large sizes, the font looks like distinctly display with a touch of handmade, and in small sizes it is legible enough to read without losing its informal feeling. It combines well with drawings and resembles a school penmanship, which makes it appropriate for the design of children's books. SketchItalic supports European Latin and modern Slavic Cyrillic, it also contains ornamental coordinated fleurons. Four standard styles expand the range of use – varying sizes, highlighting in the text, imitation of various handwritings, etc. The typeface was designed by Viktor Kharyk in 2019.
