The Inform typeface was designed by Gennady Baryshnikov for advertising and display typography. Bold Italic is based on Flash typeface, 1939, by Edwin W. Sharr. Additional styles were developed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1992 by Vladimir Yefimov and Alexander Tarbeev. Inspired by non-joining brush calligraphy.
