Baron Type is an improved version of the Ackatic font created for headings in a book about Baron Munchausen for the publishing house TriMag. The typeface has an award “for perfection in type and graphic design” at the student typography competition organized by ParaType. In addition to current Cyrillic the updated version has a basic Latin characters, and significantly improved digits. The font was developed by Svetlana Akatieva with the participation of Alexandra Korolkova, the Latin alphabet and numbers for the new version were developed by Marchela Mozhyna in 2019-2020.
