Classification:
ZaharBerkut typeface was made on the basis of the inscriptions, created by outstanding Ukrainian graphic artist Georgy Yakutovich for the design of a famous book by Ivan Franko. This is a display font, with obvious traces of a stylized ancient Slavic letter with a bias towards folk tales and songs. Thanks to the soft contour and high weight it is naturally transformed in proportions and inclination. This font is good for design of children's books and other similar production. Contains standard Cyrillic (Slavic languages) and European Latin, can be developed in any direction by styles, languages, writing systems etc. The font was designed by Victor Kharik and Gennady Zarechnyuk on the base of Georgy Yakutovich's lettering in 2011–2017.
