Yess is a revival of a typeface designed by Oleg Karpinsky in the middle of the 1970s that was initially used in advertising posters for Soviet state foreign trade company named 'Soyuzchimexort' in the early 1980s. Digital version of the font was made with the addition of a light weight. The typeface was released by ParaType in 2007.
