Konfekt in collections: Ukrainian fonts
The basis of this font was the advertisement of the Kyiv confectionery factory. Then the font was expanded to a family, which greatly increased its usability. Stylistically, the font bears all the signs of Art Nouveau sans serif – optical axes shifted up and down, curved arcs and straight strokes, capricious and unexpected solutions of individual letters. At the same time, some geometrization allows it to confidently keep the line, and the narrowed proportions and light styles are great for composing small inscriptions in advertisements, signboards, magazines, menus, packaging, etc. The typeface was designed by Viktor Kharyk and Gennady Zarechnyuk in 2019–2020.
