This is a graphic research on merging traditional rough and bold placard typeface with humanist notes from Renaissance. The typeface inherits some ideas of Francisk Skoryna to add humanist touch. It’s name is inspired by poem by Yanka Kupala. So Hleba Soli Ziamli Voli is a project of modern Belarus title or poster typeface, but can easily be used in any cases that need to combine strict lines of traditional poster types with humanist style. The font family has 5 weights and 5 oblique styles. It forms a solid block of letters. The typeface was designed by Aliaksei Koval in 2020.
