Han Zi is a display typeface that is based on the shapes of traditional Chinese hieroglyphic characters. Whilst designing the font for the Chinese style imitations the author nevertheless demonstrates serious attitude and thoroughness by using traditional Kaishu (regular script) characters. As a result the font looks stylistically authentic and genuine. The typeface was designed by Aleksandra Egorova, a young type designer from St. Petersburg, and released by ParaType in 2008.
