The e-Ukraine typeface is "Ukrainian Helvetica". This font family is used by all state authorities of Ukraine and has become the basis of the state’s visual style online.
The font family consists of three sets, each of which performs a special function and helps to maintain style unity in headlines, documents, announcements, brochures, etc.
e-Ukraine is the main set of the font family, designed for text typesetting. Due to the simple shapes and special structure of letters, we have made the font modern and inclusive, so that public services online can be conveniently used by people with visual impairments.
e-Ukraine Head is a display version for headlines with alternative Ukrainian letters. These letters have absorbed the traditional forms inherent in the symbols of Ukrainian graphic culture of the early XX century, which partially imitated the aesthetics of the Ukrainian Baroque.
e-Ukraine NAME is the font style for writing the names of state institutions in logos.
The font has built-in glyphs of special characters, state symbols and the Diia logo in basic and inverted versions of different scales.
All these fonts are available under a free Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.
The e-Ukraine typeface was developed by Fedoriv agency by order of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in 2019. The font designer is Dmytro Rastvortsev.
