DIN PT is a new font family of sans serif typefaces designed at ParaType on the base of a well-known German font developed in Deutsches Institut fur Normung e.V. (German Institute for Standardization) that was published in 1936 and registered as DIN 1451. The font has a memorable geometric design and conveys a strong feeling of German "ordnung". Due to its naive rude shapes DIN font became very popular in the last years and begot enormous modern variations. ParaType version of DIN was developed by Dmitry Kirsanov and released in 2012.
