Algor (1 font)

The experimental typeface Algor is based on the algorithm of changing the thickness of strokes depending on the complexity of the character, which, despite the external irregularity of individual letters, creates a plain, tonally sustained, expressive line with a complex internal rhythm. The font looks good in uncommon display matter, covers, logos, etc. It works well in pairs with light sans serifs, and works even in vertical lines. The proposed version contains extended Latin, Monotonic Greek, Modern European Cyrillic alphabets and the International Phonetic Alphabet. But the contour itself is universal and not connected with historical styles, which allows us to develop a character sets for various writing systems. You can write to the author and order an additional extension for any alphabets. The author has already created the sketches of Semitic and Far Eastern symbols. The font was designed by Viktor Kharik in 2018 for Ukrainian charity project Shchedryk.
